Format: This course is given with the flipped/inverted classroom concept. I expect the students to work through the online material below before class. This will then be deepened in the contact time with questions and answers, a general discussion, and possibly exercises. Please write down all questions that come up during the preparation, so that you can ask them. It is absolutely essential that you work through the material beforehand. If you come unprepared, chances are high that you don't understand anything.

Exercises: I make two sets of exercises available here including the solutions to deepen the understanding of the course material. I suggest to first work on the exercises without looking at the solutions and use the latter only if one gets stuck or has particular questions. I do not expect you to work through the exercises before class.
